Connecting People with Community
The CCO Network provides a bridge of communication and mutual support through planned, relationship-centered activities and discussions. The CCO Network has established a link at churches and CCO to allow information to flow between churches, CCO and the community!
The CCO Network Coordinator
To connect people, the CCO Network needs leaders. This leader from your church would be a lay or clergy leader who may have direct responsibilities on your church’s leadership team, administrative council, board of deacons or other church body responsible for the oversight of your congregation.
The ideal candidate for the CCO Network Coordinator is a leader who is comfortable in a communications role and actively works with the pastor and/or other leaders. The coordinator is asked to dedicate time for monthly meetings (every 1st Thursday from 10am-11am) at the CCO Central Office. This commitment can be one year or more.
CCO Network Meetings
The monthly meetings consist of CCO Network Coordinators sharing news from within their church, service outreach in the community, and topics of interest revolving around improving the quality of life. On occasion, special guests share about specific topics, from homelessness to elderly care to hunger and education. Each meeting gives opportunity for collaboration among churches to create impactful change. Questions? Contact Christine Moses at 862-3586 ext 238 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
