Safe to Sleep: Women's Overnight Shelter
 Women apply for a cot through One Door. A cot, showers and snacks are provided in a safe place to sleep. The women will be advised of the location of all the other services in the area such as free meals, showers, clothes washers, job counseling, etc.
VOLUNTEERS STAY OVERNIGHT.
Cold weather shelters in Springfield have shown this is a safe and much appreciated service to those with emergency needs.
You work in pairs overnight.
At least one volunteer will be a woman.
You may work with a friend.
At least one volunteer will always be awake.
You can volunteer on a monthly or weekly basis.
