Council of Churches Friends:
Thank you for your partnership with the Council of Churches of the Ozarks. Your support helps to make the delivery of vital services possible to some of the most vulnerable children, seniors and people with disabilities in the Ozarks numbering more than 100,000 annually.
Signs of economic recovery are visible for some; however, for those who remain unemployed, or those on a fixed income, or those who suffer from a disability, such signs are nearly invisible.
Our mission to serve and improve the quality of life for our most vulnerable neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ is what unites churches, businesses and individuals to continue doing together what is best done together.
Special gifts make an every-day difference!
- $100 puts new clothing within reach of a foster child for one full year through Ambassadors for Children’s Kid’s Clothes Closet.
- $100 provides 8 familes emergency food through Crosslines.
- $100 provides safety equipment for a disabled child to safely receive therapy through Therapeutic Riding of the Ozarks.
- $100 will purchase and install a set of grab-bars in the home of a low-income senior through Connections Handyman Services.
The Generosity of Friends
This year, thanks to the generosity of the Council of Churches board and other special friends, gifts of $100 or more are matched dollar-for-dollar up to $58,000 through the Council of Churches of the Ozarks Foundation Power of Together Challenge.
Can you make a special gift of $100? Matched dollar-for-dollar you can provide $200 in services to our community's most vulnerable.
